For the Indian flagship aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, GI Tech was one of the key sub-contractors for Cochin Shipyard Ltd, covering major scopes for the design, supply, and installation of habitat areas , including general and senior officers' accommodations and office spaces.

Our work featured modular accommodation for dry spaces and critical furniture for 11 compartments, technical furniture for 20 compartments, and customized furniture for VIP compartments , including the ANTE room. The project also encompassed VIP cabins, such as the Admiral’s and Captain’s night, day, and sea cabins, the Officer’s mess room, the ship’s library, and various ward rooms, ensuring exceptional comfort and functionality throughout the vessel.
